Olinger Crown Hill/Mother's Day Concert - Sunday, May 11 2008

In celebration of Mother's Day, members of the Colorado Chamber Players will perform a concert sure to delight. Selections by Handel-Halvorsen, Bach and Beethoven for violin, viola and cello will be featured. The performance will be held at 4 p.m. in Crown Hill's Pavilion of Reflection located at 7777 W. 29th Ave. in Wheat Ridge.

Olinger Crown Hill/Memorial Day Weekend - Saturday, May 24 2008

Cemetery locator and floral tents will be open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.  A bagpiper performance and dove release will take place at the Tower of Memories at 12:30 p.m.

Olinger Crown Hill/Memorial Day Weekend - Sunday, May 25 2008

Join Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery and Arboretum in events honoring Memorial Day Weekend.  A bagpiper performance and dove release will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the Tower of Memories.

At 7 p.m. an American Flag skydiving demonstration will take place performed by Colorado Sky Sports.  This will be followed by a concert featuring the Queen City Jazz Band in the Pavilion of Reflection at 7:15 p.m.  The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.

Free to the community.

Locator and floral tents will be open form 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

At 10 a.m. there will be a "Quilt of Memories" signing in memory of all beloved pets at the Pavilion of Reflection. Funds raised will benefit the MAX fund. At 12:30 p.m., Centennial Pipes and Drums will parade along the esplanade followed by a dove release.

Olinger Highland/Memorial Day Service - Monday, May 26 2008

Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery will hold its 48th Annual Memorial Day Celebration at 10 a.m., Monday, May 26, 2008.  The celebration will be held with V.F.W. Post 7945 and the Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 22 and Ladies Auxiliary.

Crist Mortuary/Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall - Friday, Jul 18 2008

The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall, is a three-quarter-scale, faux-granite replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., which travels to communities throughout the United States. The memorial is dedicated to all Americans who served in Vietnam and honors all servicemen and women of the United States military forces.

Crist Mortuary and Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder will be hosting the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall July 18 - 20, 2008. Viewing will be open to the public 24 hours a day with ceremonies scheduled each day.
